1st Jun. 1996 - Jun. 2023	Self Employed. The Laughing Professor. Stared my own business producing personalized and promotional gifts and products, while you wait! With use of a mobile production shop and retail outlet store. Any design printed onto… anything with no minimum quantities. Importing from China wholesale production equipment and supplies, supplying colleagues printers and teaching techniques. www.LaughingProfessor.net also providing and building websites for clients www.PrintingREADY.com to include SEO techniques. I also create and teach vector format and photo editing.
30th Apr. 2010 - 12th May 2011	Self employed, Training Officer / College Lecturer. Teaching students in classroom and workshop environments. A1 Assessor of NVQ level 2 & 3, gaining contracts via recruitment agencies. Contracts include EYS (Training Provider) as lead IV and training officer, and Oldham College as lecturer for City and Guilds 2330 (Electrotechnical Technology) level 2.
11th Feb. 2008 - 30th Apr. 2010	NLT Training Services Ltd. Chesterfield. www.nlt-training.co.uk Teaching students in classroom and workshop environments. Employed as an Tutor, training officer A1 assessor of NVQ level 2 & 3, this involves regular visits to Electrical, Electronic and Engineering companies to assess learner students carrying out a variety of work in accordance with 17th Edition, towards their NVQ. This could be with funding from the LSC (Train to Gain Scheme). I also deliver electrical course at NLT Chesterfield and Scunthorpe offices, ie Basic Electrical competency, PAT testing, 17th Edition etc. completing leaner progress charts and LSC/EMTA paperwork and regulations.
1st Jun. 1999 - 30th Apr. 2004	Self Employed Electrician. Carrying out installation and repairs to systems, including lighting, main power supply, security lighting and sensors. Residential and commercial electrical installations.
15th Jun. 1998 - 17th Nov. 1998	Broxdent Ltd www.broxdent.co.uk Dental Electrical (X-Ray) service engineer. Responsible for travelling throughout the UK, installing, servicing and maintaining all forms of dental surgery equipment. This would include ceiling lights, panoramic X-ray machines, surgery chairs, delivery units, suction pumps and compressors.
3rd Apr. 1998 - 14th Jun. 1998	Sterilizing Equipment Co Ltd. (Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire) Electrician, constructing from drawings Sterilizing chambers for industry. Building electrical control cabinets from circuit diagrams to three phase supply, also drilling and tapping where appropriate for cable protection trunking and conduit. Working with equipment wire and mains supply cable. Working on quality test Bay, testing the finished product and installing the equipment on location.
26th May 1996 - 2nd Apr. 1998	Betterware (UK) Ltd. Birmingham Managing manpower of 20, responsible for advertising, recruitment, replacing manpower. Stock management, purchasing, recycle and delivery. Liaising with corporate head office. Brochure and stationary control, accounts, income and expenses bookkeeping. Dealing with customers in person and telephone including refunds. Sales and achievement records.
26th May 1987 - 25th May 1996	Royal Air Force. +6yr Reserves. (England, Germany, Italy, Norway, Cyprus and Falklands) Aircraft Electronics Specialist. Senior Aircraftsman. Electrician maintenance, repair and rectification of all aircraft systems, from batteries and filaments to fire suppression and weapons control systems. Working on thr front flight line and in workshop electrocins bay environments. Fault diagnoses and servicing of systems and equipment using electrical wiring diagrams and test equipment. Responsible for loading and safety of aircraft weapons systems. Carrying out pre-use safety checks on all tools and test equipment. Controlling technical consumables. Assistant for Health and Safety, maintain a healthy and safe working environment, also carrying out risk assessment, deputy in charge of COSHH Assessments, correct storage and use.
1986 - 1987	Fluid Equipment Services Ltd. (Warrington) www.fluidequipmentservices.co.uk Hydraulic and pneumatic engineering. Working out on various sites repairing and maintenance of these pumps used for the transferring of liquid foods, oils and greases.
1985 - 1986	Youth Training Scheme. (Warrington) Vehicle mechanics and engineering skills, at various motor mechanic garages. Which also included arc (stick) welding.
